Technology has transformed the way I teach art, making learning more engaging, interactive, and personalized for every student. Over the past year, I have embraced a flipped classroom model, allowing students to explore artistic concepts at their own pace through instructional videos I create. These videos delve into everything from art techniques and artist biographies to creative processes, ensuring that students receive foundational knowledge before applying it in their own work. Technology also enables my choice-based approach, where students select learning paths that suit their interests and skill levels. Through choiceboard assignments, students can explore a variety of techniques, styles, and digital tools, fostering independence and creativity.

To support diverse learning needs, I integrate a range of digital platforms, including ScreenPal for video tutorials, Nearpod for interactive presentations, and Pixilart.com for digital art creation.

Minecraft Education adds another dimension to artistic exploration, allowing students to build immersive virtual worlds that connect to design principles, architecture, and storytelling. These tools ensure that students engage with art beyond traditional methods, developing both digital literacy and artistic fluency.

My goal is to create an environment where students can access meaningful artistic experiences regardless of their learning style, ensuring that technology enhances not only skill-building but also self-expression and creative confidence. Below are a few examples of things I have created using technology in my art classroom.
